Cool! I wish I had more of the SOTA Street Fighter figures. I only have the Player 1 versions of Ryu, Ken, and Cammy.

Bummers, yeah i liked them alot and liked how cool they where for art so i got them for the use of action figure poses.
But there even cooler for photos like this one.
You might be able to pick up some on ebay still, and i wish i had some of the early ones like Bison and such.

I've looked. They are some of the most expensive figures I have ever seen from recent years. I payed a lot for the 3 I have. I've seen Bison for a good price a few times before, you should keep a look out for him :)

....yeah its a search to find them cheaply.
But hey Marvel Legends are $15-20 in stores now new....so plastic isnt cheap any more, lol.
And i will from time to time but havent in awhile.

Yeah. It's too bad that things are really expensive now.
Have you ever had any problems with your figures breaking? I'm afraid to open mine because I heard they break really easily.

No i havent had any problems, just becarful with them as thier toys but collector side of that.
The snap ball joints are the issue....i did have Ibuki's hand stress break but i fixed it.
I say enjoy them, keep them sealed if you plan on resaleing them if not openand play.

The filter is cool but the poses feel too restricted

This photo had no filter, its a feild of depth of the lens being very close to the main subject in foucs.
And the poses are only restricted by the limiatsions of the figures them self.
Plus thier all free standing, it was alot of fun makeing the shot and im not big on useing digital filters unless the image needs them and i cant get it with playing in a studio shoot.

Nice, the idea is well in place.
I would like to see this agian as i like the Halo Figures.

I would like to see a few things in a reshoot...
1. A better camera or use of the current one, the picture is a bit on the pixelized side, dosnt take to much away for me but getting the right foucs and shapeness from it can push it alot.
2. Since its a small poster on a white wall try the following....bigger poster if you have one, use black fabric to contnue the poster dark feel, build a set(nothing fancey but something that adds to it)
3. Action pose, standing pose, and so on as a setup takes so much time do all kiinds of playing(yes playing with your figures)to get a ton of images to work with, pick the best and edit them. You pose and lighting should be done at the same time along with your camera angles, post is levels and color.
4. HAVE FUN!!!!

Good job and please ask any questions you might have and take a look around of 'Toy Photos' to get a good feel for what im saying. Most of all toys are for fun so have fun takeing pictures of them, pictures hit a large group of people and last along time, so make it count!

1. With the camera I used this is the best sharpness and resolution it'll possibly get
2. Thanks but I have no money to create a movie set
3. I worked with lighting, this is the best I was able to do
4.

My specialty has always been and always will be :iconflashplz:

Ok, if its the best you can do at this time thats cool. I understand and hope you take these as helpful things...
1.No worries, cameras are not cheap and photgraph isnt cheap to do either in film or digital.
2.i was meaning with things you have already, it can be simple cans and dirt with some kids paint or house paint, creativeness in useing junck to make a set, not all great sets cost $1mill to do some come from left overs that are pu togather with sweat and spit so to say.
3.And no worries on the lighting, thats my normal job is a stagehand in lighting, what i was meaning thier was playing with it, useing things to change the color, difusse the light and such. to make a impact with your lighting, low angle, dual lighting and such.
4. Agian its all about haveing fun, and i hope you have fun with it all.

Flash is good but what works in the real world can also push you in the digital world like a painter of oils/acylics/watercolor can on a computer with the real world knowlge. Art is a fun thing no matter the medium.
