Practice makes perfect, and with the pencils you do you should be just fine.
I've been useing the 'Artof Comic Book inking' by Gary Martin if that might help any.

I think it's just the lack of confidence in my ink work being that's it permanent and I can't erase it. Sucks to be a perfectionist with my work. lol And I do need to get a hold of one of them inking books.

Its more practice is all, im not anything more than a student still but the infomation ive gain in the past few months has grown more than the year i was self teaching my self.
If you'd like i can see about getting you a list of inkers here on dA and others that i really enjoy if you'd like?
Well here are a few i found for the fun of it....
Scot Williams :iconinkist: , Johnny Lucas :iconjoltinjohnnylucas: , Joe Weems :iconjoeweems5: , Tim Townsend :icontimtownsend: ,Gary Martin :iconsky-boy: , Danny Miki :iconkoimando: ,JonBoy :iconjonboy007007: , Matteo Scalera :iconmatteoscalera: ,Ryan Benjamin :iconryanbnjmn: ,Jonathan Glapion :iconjonathanglapion: ,Jon Sibal :iconjonsibal:
Most can be found in my fav folders, these guys are amazing at what they have up, i've been told to study what i like and give that a look over to help inprove my line work. And whats tricky is each tool has its own learning curve or trait it does, Brush has fleaxbilty but takes time to learn control, Chinese brush is even more so, Nibs are controled but can drop all thier ink if your not careful how you pull them, And then you have pens that allow good control but takes a great hand to be able to get what you need from them. Inking is more than i thought but i like it, its simalar to watercoloring or painting.
