Description
Dr. Strange doing a spell in the realm of magic.
2017 Challenge was a one of doing finished pencil work to build a better idea of what i wanted with the piece and to share what i did with the layout pencils.
For the inks i found i like to play and experiment with texturing ideas on these, This time i sponged the background in place of airbrushing it.
I wanted to capture the feel of the ethereal plane he uses for magic. The planets were random ideas i had.
My arm was feeling better after 6 months of muscle/tendon pain from overuse inking pages.
Please support and read on....
Pencil layout by Joe Sinnott

That looks like the very first Doc Strange comic I was ever given! 1973, I think it was Doctor Strange #1. The Orb of Aggamotto attacked him with snakes, and this guy called the Silver Dagger was after him. (I was 8.)
