Description

A project im doing for Valkyrie Komics out of Las Vegas, I'm inking their preview issue for The upcoming Comikaze in LA 2012.

Pencils by Cillian Cubstead :iconkillcubstead:
Inks by :iconsurftiki:

This is Page 20 of Heavens Tear Fall AKA The Dirge of Viqdis: The Fire Within Pt.1.
I'm inking this towards the pencilers style and keeping with his lines as much as i can.
Check it out as the pencils are on the left and the inks on the right.

UPDATE to 1st posting: Page 1 was changed since it has a replaced panel i'm changing this to page 20 as i feel its a much better feel to the inks.

Heavens Tear Fall is (C) Valkyrie Komics

Lot of good things here, :) Have you thought of using a bit variation in line thickness or patterning? Some of the thin line works seems like it could use some subtle variation there. I use ink pens ( some brush as well ) and at times the evenness of the line width can work against you. Also a second line of shorter feathering can do some nice things to the edges.

I'm on the amateur side so I could be looking at this wrong. Definitely a more dynamic choice, water is a challenging thing to portray in ink, looks good.
